Bread Rasmalai#SundayFunday

Bread Rasmalai is the quick version of traditional Rasmalai. Instead of paneer, bread slices are used for soaking in saffron flavored thick milk. It's then garnished with chopped nuts. You will love this version of quick Rasmalai like we don, it's become one of our favorite sweets for a quick dessert.

Ingredients
4 Big Bread Slices
3 Cups Milk
1 Teaspoon Desi Ghee
3 Tablespoons Condensed Milk
¼ Cup Sugar
2 Tablespoons Each Almonds & Pistachios - chopped
¼ Teaspoon Saffron Strands
½ Teaspoon Cardamom Powder

Method
In a pan add the condense milk and milk, cook on medium flame till milk is reduced to half and is thick, add saffron to the boiling milk, keep stirring then add sugar, keep stirring, till the milk has thickened. To this add in the cardamom powder, switch off the flame. When cooled pour the rabri into a bowl and chill it in the refrigerator.
In a another pan heat a teaspoon of desi ghee, fry the almonds and pistachio till slightly toasted. Keep aside.
Take bread slices, cut small circles from the bread slices.
Just at the time of serving take a bowl /plate, add a little of the prepared rabri just enough to soak the bread slices, place the cut bread rounds. Let them soak for few minutes.
Arrange the soaked bread gently into the serving platter. Pour the chilled rabri, garnish it with chopped pistachios and almonds.
Enjoy!!

Quick and Easy Slice Bread Slice Margherita Pizza is probably one of the easiest recipes you can make for breakfast, a light and quick dinner or as a evening snack. Made these bread pizzas for the physically challenged children who I, spend time with pretty often. They were so thrilled to make these. In batches of 4 each , each batch was given do one task. One batch applies the butter, the other sauce, the next will grate the cheese on it and then last batch of children will garnish arrange the olives.

Here the recipe is of a small quantity, but for 30 children I, made in large quantity.. used three medium packs of brown bread, 650 grams of pizza sauce and nearly a kg of mozzarella / pizza cheese and pics are of all the remaining that I could take. I am sure these mini bread pizzas, will be loved by you, especially the kids.

Steamed Caramel Fresh Cream Bread Pudding- Pressure Cooker#MulticookerMonday

This is quick bread, have leftover bread slices, the sides bread slice works good for this recipe. Place the pan in the pressure cooker and forget about it for the next 45 minutes. Isn't it that easy? You have a delicious caramel pudding ready for your evening tea.
My hubby love pudding, keep's reminding me that you have not made any pudding for a long time. Just wants something sweet to eat.

7" Round Pan
Ingredients

For The Pudding
5 Slice Bread - cut into tiny pieces
500 Ml Milk
½ Cup Sugar
½ Cup Fresh Cream/Single Cream
2 Eggs - lightly beaten
1 Teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 Tablespoon Clarified Butter

For the Caramel
¼ Cup Sugar
1 Tablespoon Water

Method
In a large pot/bowl add all the ingredients for pudding and mix well, do not whisk. Leave it aside for an hour or more till the bread pieces soften.
In the meantime in a pan melt the sugar and water till it caramelizes into a slightly dark color. Do not burn the sugar or else the caramel will taste bitter.
Pour this into the pan and let it set/cool completely. I kept it in the refrigerator.
After an hour, pour the prepared pudding mixture into the cooled caramel tin.
Cover it with a aluminum foil. In a broad pressure cooker add enough water keep a ring in it. Then place the pudding pan the water level should be an inch of the pudding pan. Cover the pressure cooker take one whistle on high flame and then reduce the flame to low and keep it for 45 minutes. After 45 minutes switch off the flame. Let the cooker cool completely.
When the pudding is at room temperature, then place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours or overnight to cool completely.
Un mould it into a deep serving plate.
Slice & Enjoy!!
